GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., December 12, 2019 – Today, Lynn Afendoulis, candidate for congress in MI-3, announced an additional five endorsements from state legislators, demonstrating the strength of her campaign. Afendoulis has now received the endorsement of nearly 40% of the House Republican Caucus. This includes 14 Committee Chairs. These members of the Michigan legislature know the type of representative she would be for the 3rd Congressional District.
“Lynn has proven that she is someone who will stand up for our values and will put the people of the 3rd Congressional District and their needs first. She will work with our President to make progress for the people of West Michigan, just as I’ve seen her do in the state legislature for the people in her district. She has no hesitation in being bold and will fight the extremists in the Democrat Party. I’m proud to support Lynn and ask the people of West Michigan to join me,” said Rep. Beth Griffin.
“I’m so honored to have the support of these fine legislators. They know my track record of delivering for my district in Lansing and that I will work hard to do the same in Washington,” Afendoulis said. “Justin Amash criticizes the President from the backbench and teams up with Speaker Pelosi to perpetuate an endless cycle of investigations–and that needs to end. I will work to solidify President Trump’s progress by finishing barriers at the border, passing new trade deals, and continuing to protect life,” Afendoulis said.

Lynn is running for Congress because she believes we are fighting for the very fabric of who and what we are–the things that President Trump is fighting for and that attracted her grandparents to this country. She wants to protect the rule of law and represent the people of the 3rd District in a way that they’ve been yearning for – with integrity, engagement, and effectiveness. And to show her children that this is all worth fighting for.
