GRAND RAPIDS, MICH., – Lynn Afendoulis, candidate for congress in MI-3, announced the endorsement of an additional eight Michigan state representatives today. This brings her total supporters from the Michigan House of Representatives to 30 or 53 percent of the caucus. She also has the endorsement of Sen. Pete MacGregor, senate whip. No other candidate in the race has more than one state elected official supporting them.

Two of her newest endorsers, Representatives Steve Johnson and Matt Maddock, penned a letter to colleagues about their support. In it, they note that Lynn is the strongest conservative candidate in the field, adding, “… having served with [Lynn] for just over a year now, we trust her dedication, her conservative values, and her ability to be an effective representative of the 3rd Congressional District…Lynn has shown the ability to put together a robust campaign in the face of the threat of millions and millions of dollars being spent against her. In addition, her voting record and per priorities show us she will be a strong champion of conservative values and beliefs.”

“I am so honored to have earned the endorsements of the elected officials with whom I serve and have grown to respect for their diligent service to their constituents and the State of Michigan,” Afendoulis said. “I entered this race because I love West Michigan, which I’ve called home my entire life, and because I believe in the American Dream. I will go to Washington to work with President Trump to put an end to illegal immigration, stand up to China, and work to get this economy roaring again. Now more than ever we need proven, trusted conservative leadership for West Michigan.”

About Lynn
Lynn is running for Congress because she believes we are fighting for the very fabric of who and what we are–the things that President Trump is fighting for and that attracted her grandparents to this country. She wants to protect the rule of law and represent the people of the 3rd District in a way that they’ve been yearning for – with integrity, engagement, and effectiveness. And to show her children that this is all worth fighting for.
