Rockford, MI — The Michigan Fraternal Order of Police has endorsed Lynn Afendoulis for State Representative in the 90th House District, recognizing her long-standing commitment to the men and women of law enforcement across Michigan.
The endorsement was delivered by Michael Sauger, State President of the Michigan FOP, on behalf of the organization's statewide membership.
"The men and women of the Fraternal Order of Police appreciate the support you have shown to the law enforcement community. Our Legislative Committee looks forward to continuing to work with you on issues that impact police officers throughout Michigan."
— Michael Sauger, State President, Michigan Fraternal Order of Police
Afendoulis called the endorsement a reflection of the values she has always carried into public life.
"Safe neighborhoods are the foundation of everything else — good schools, thriving businesses, strong families. I have always believed that, and I have always stood behind the men and women who put on a uniform and go to work every day to keep our communities safe. This endorsement means the world to me, and I will earn it every single day in Lansing."
— Lynn Afendoulis
The Michigan Fraternal Order of Police is a statewide law enforcement organization that has represented the interests of police officers across Michigan since 1939. It is part of the National Fraternal Order of Police, founded in 1915, which is now the nation's largest law enforcement organization with more than 380,000 members.
Support for law enforcement has been a cornerstone of Afendoulis's campaign since launch. She has pledged to fight for the resources and policies that keep communities secure and to stand firmly with the men and women who protect them.
